Scotland the Brave II is an expansion for the Advanced Squad Leader game system. From the game sleeve:'Many men of 15th Scottish had endured the equipment crisis of 1940, when much of the available ordnance was made up of museum pieces, some 'for drill purposes only', and it was rumored that the (medieval) 'Mons Meg' would any day be delivered from the Tower of London. Now, in mid-1944, they were amply supplied with equipment. In a country learning to live with extreme deprivation, they had been encouraged to use any quantity of live ammunition to perfect their training. They embarked for Normandy in a general state of apprehension mixed with grim confidence that they were as ready as they could ever be. The shock of first action was extreme. Some units cracked under the strain.
